Here is a list housing a wide variety of the 15 Best Books to Read During Social Isolation. Cheers, bookworms!

1. The 4 Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat Loss, Incredible Sex and Becoming Superhuman by Timothy Ferris

Seriously a game changer. If you’ve been stuck in the same spot wanting to change the way you approach a healthy lifestyle with eating and exercising without the gimmicks, false promises, or unrealistic goals, this is the one for you. Timothy breaks down the facts to a very bone marrow degree and tells you what you need to hear, rather than what you want to hear, in order to be successful.

3. Girl, Stop Apologizing: A Shame-Free Plan for Embracing and Achieving Your Goals by Rachel Hollis

I. Love. Rachel Hollis. She is my spirit “animal” if there ever was such a thing. Her view and take on life is powerful beyond what the English language can properly describe. She is a fierce leader, successful businesswoman, and badass mom, who takes life by the reigns and makes it happen in a very openly fashion where she points out her failures and mistakes to make it part of the normal talk in society, so that when it’s our turn to step up to the plate, we can go after what we want instead of “apologizing”.

A must read for any couple. This book breaks down the personality traits seen in most humans – men and women alike – and helps the partners in the relationships to understand where their partner is coming from, so that there can be more effective communication, harmony and lasting love.

5. Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman’s Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia by Elizabeth Gilbert

If you all could see a copy of my book, it would have the appearance of an ancient piece of manuscript that’s been lost for centuries in some forgotten city in Egypt. In short, it’s seen better days. This is for the sole reason that I freakin’ love this book. The way Elizabeth paints these journeys in your mind is so intoxicating, that I advise all to not drink while reading or else you might find yourself buying a plane ticket to Italy before the end of her next chapter. You’ve been warned!

6. Women & Money by Suze Orman

This book helped me out a lot when I was trying to decide what to do as far as finances go. She spells it out and lets the reader know that it is okay to not have it all 100% in the beginning. The way you learn is by making those small mistakes. Suze is a fierce business woman who brings that tough love that only a Southern Woman could do.

7. The Latte Factor: Why You Don’t Have to Be Rich to Live Rich by David Bach

Get this book!! Whether you are a money guru or not (like me!) this book will definitely be one you will want to pick up again and have a refresher on. The author gives real life examples that are easy to relate to and breaks down the big picture to smaller stores that are easier to understand and grasp, which in turn will help you realize the bigger picture as you continue through the book.

8. The Anxiety Journal: Exercises to Soothe Stress and Eliminate Anxiety by Corinne Sweet

I don’t like to say that I “suffer” from anxiety, because I don’t. I often go through these phases that have me feeling panicked or anxious with the future. This book has helped me put into words how I am feeling and how to combat the negative thoughts that always follow the anxious feeling. There are pictures illustrating what to do, positive quotes, and helpful entries to guide you through tough moments. A must have for those that go through some anxiety in their life time.

9. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers

I was introduce to this book years ago when I was going through a rough spot in my life. This book is simply my #1 favorite book ever written. The unconditional love and unconditional forgiveness is what this world needs more of. Do yourself a favor a order this book. I may need to order myself another copy. The white pages are now browning, and the cover is hanging on by a thread. I take great care of my books, by this one has traveled all over the country with me multiple times. I know, I know… there’s this thing called Audible, but I thoroughly enjoy flipping a hard copy page, especially one that I can’t put down.

10. The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo

The Alchemist is an all time favorite of mine that takes you on a journey to discover riches and treasures beyond comprehension, only to discover that the true treasure was always located within oneself. A story that has captivated quite the following worldwide, you will want to add this enchanting and magical story to your collection. What starts out as a journey to discover riches beyond compare, ends up revealing the treasure that has always been within.

11. Crowned Confessions by Eliel Pierre

If you enjoy poetry that isn’t just a rhythm of fancy words, but tells a captivating story that is forever unveiling one page at a time, this is the perfect read for you. I would suggest reading this is different sittings to allow your mind to reflect on the experience you will go through with each chapter. The author takes you on a journey through the most recognized symbols in the world – Diamonds, Clubs, Spades, and Hearts – revealing the raw emotions behind every waking moment.

12. Who Moved My Cheese?: An A-Mazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life by Spencer Johnson, M.D.

GET THIS BOOK! Seriously life changing. This book calls you out in the best way possible. You will see what I mean once you start reading it. The simplicity of the story is easy to follow for any level of reader, but more importantly, the message within this book helps you become a better person. Schools should make this mandatory for young students!

13. New Morning Mercies: A Daily Gospel Devotional by Paul David Tripp

I enjoy this book for the sheer fact that it’s a “one pager” every day with a date, a verse and a message. No fluff, just the good stuff. An encouraging and hearty message for every day of the year, this book is a greta go-to while eating your breakfast or grabbing a quick cup of coffee.

14. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

A classic that merits being read through more than a handful of times in a lifetime, Pride and Prejudice is a comforting favorite of mine. The film is a really great piece of art too if you’re more of a movie junkie! Wittiness and feminism that you’ll find throughout these pages may be common today, but in days of old, they were the sparks to gossip which makes Pride and Prejudice such a long-standing popular and sought after classic novel.

15. A Little Bit of Auras: An Introduction to Energy Fields by Cassandra Eason

I love this book for many reasons. It’s simple to follow along with some pretty foreign and unfamiliar lingo to the Western society nowadays. Being able to recognize your own aura and the aura of others can be very beneficial in many areas of life from business to personal. As you learn how to recognize auras, you can then better manage yourself and others by helpful tips and tricks that have been proven to be effective throughout centuries of being passed down.
