Shopping. Just the word makes me happy. Have you ever gone out “shopping” but really just go out to see what’s new, maybe try some stuff on, but not buy anything? I’m the same way. I enjoy the hunt rather than the actual spending. Below are some of my top places I seek out and find amazing deals! Let me know where you shop and find the best deals!
Poshmark
With over 50 million users and over 5 million sellers, Poshmark is a great shopping app to find quite literally anything you can think of. It’s the more trendy app for finding specific name brands you already love and enjoy. For me, I’ve purchased items – home, clothes, shoes, etc – off of the app after already trying on sizes in store to make sure I know my fit in different brands. Poshmark allows you to also negotiate pricing, so the price you see doesn’t have to be the actual price you pay. Most sellers will offer discounts and even free shipping!
I have my account as well and in just a few months have already sold over $13,000. You don’t have to be a seller, but it’s a great way to make a little extra cash on the side!
Use this code (THEIRISHDARLING) to try it out and get $10 just for signing up for free!

T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, & HomeGoods
If I could live in a department store, it would be one of these three. Ever since I began keeping up with fashions and home decor, these three stores have been the backbone to the designs. All three have incredibly affordable fashions that are in trend currently and even some that are past season for a major discount!
Traveling to a TJ Maxx is truly a happy place for me. Just walking around and seeing all the sections of clothes, hair accessories, home decors and of course the best part of all – the mugs! Such a comforting and exciting collection of new items every time I shop at any of these retailers. They even have “Shop the Runway” online too!

Shopping Local
While I don’t necessarily have one specific store in mind, this is more of a broad encouragement of shopping at your local thrift shops, boutiques, and mom-and-pop shops! You will be surprised with how many unique and beautiful items are located inside treasure troves like local shops. For me, my “local shop” home base is Raleigh, NC. Anything with NC on it, it’s really difficult for me not to immediately purchase and keep. Think, Dori from Finding Nemo – I shall call him squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my squishy. That’s me when it comes to NC gear.
If you would like to know some specific local shops I enjoy supporting and always find some great finds in, let me know in the comments or shoot me an email!
